Lost Continent Global: World Cup Season 1
MECHANICS & REGISTRATION:
- The event will be played through a 5 versus 5 BATTLE SOCCER.
- The first team (party of 5) to reach 100 points wins the round.
- Teams must consist of 10 members (5 active members & 5 reserves).
- Lineup adjustments before the start of every match will be allowed as long as they are included in the official roster.
- Each Active Team is limited to 1 of each character class; reserves may be the same class as long as they are not in the active lineup at the same time.
- At least 12 Teams must register.
- Teams must be in the same guild during the event to participate.
- Each Guild can be represented by a maximum of 4 teams only.
- The GUILD MASTER should always be in the ACTIVE lineup to declare BATTLE SOCCER.
- GUILD MASTERS can be replaced as long as they are part of the official roster.
- All registered rosters are deemed FINAL.
- Elimination matches will be for 2 rounds only - (Win/Lose/Draw) point system.
EVENT RULES:
- 5 minutes will be allotted for teams to complete the active line-up before every match. Failure will result in disqualification.
- If a player gets disconnected, warps out, or switches character - the match will not be stopped unless decided by the Game Master.
- Each team should stay in their corners until the Game Master's GO signal.
- Using illegal third-party programs, cheats or any kind of hacks during the event will result in TEAM disqualification and will be subject to account suspension.
NOTES:
- Players must retain their registered character names to receive prizes.
- Matches will be officiated & streamed by official Game Masters and Official Casters.
- Game Masters and Official Casters will join the teams (party) to monitor scores.
- Failure to comply with the mechanics may lead to disqualification.
- Tiebreakers will be determined by Game Masters, if necessary.
- The Team reserves the right to change the terms and conditions without prior notice.
PLAYOFF BRACKETS:
- All Upper Bracket matches would be a best-of-3 series.
- Lower Bracket matches would be a best-of-3 series, except for the first round (sudden deathmatch).
- The Championship Match would be a best-of-5 series.
GROUP STAGES:
- 2 groups of six (6) teams (may exceed).
- There will be 2 rounds per matchup.
- 2 Round Wins will merit 2 points
- 1-1 Round Draw will merit 1 point for each team
- No wins will merit 0 points.
- The 5th & 6th seeds from each group will automatically be in the lower bracket.
- Losing teams from the upper bracket will face the seeded teams in the lower bracket.
- Winning teams from the upper bracket will wait for the winning teams from the lower bracket.
- In case of a tie in points. A sudden death match will be played.
PLAYOFF FORMAT:
- All Upper Bracket games will be a Best of 3 series.
- Lower Bracket matches will be a Best of 3 series, except for the first round which will be a Sudden Death match (1 round only).
- The Grand Final match will be a best of 5 series w/ no advantages on each side.
Upper Bracket
- Upper Bracket A: Group A Seed 1 vs Group B Seed 4
- Upper Bracket B: Group B Seed 1 vs Group A Seed 4
- Upper Bracket C: Group B Seed 2 vs Group A Seed 3
- Upper Bracket D: Group A Seed 2 vs Group B Seed 3
Lower Bracket
- Lower Bracket A: Group A Seed 5 vs Loser of Upper Bracket A
- Lower Bracket B: Group B Seed 5 vs Loser of Upper Bracket B
- Lower Bracket C: Group B Seed 6 vs Loser of Upper Bracket C
- Lower Bracket D: Group A Seed 6 vs Loser of Upper Bracket D
